Insurance agent
Insurance is an agreement between the insurer and the insured, where the latter pays a certain amount of money known as the premium on a monthly or annual basis. The former in turn commits that a large amount of amount of money would be paid to the insured in case of an adversity. Insurance companies have different policies and plans.

An insurance agent needs:
1)good communication skills
2)an aptitude for working with numbers and calculations
3)a high level of perseverance and motivation
4)good interpersonal skills
To recruit agents a written examination is held for Graduates(21 to 35 years )to test personality, language and mathematical ability followed by interview.
3 years of training follows the recruitment. Each trainee is given a target of the amount of business he has to procure annually and the performance is reviewed quarterly A monthly stipend is given in addition to the earnings through commissions. The LIC provides its agents with various facilities
